Hi guys!

Let’s talk about books. Recently i have been Reading a lot of books from H.P. Lovecraft, who wrote a lot of really great horror stories while exploring on the human psyche. His stories have horrible and imaginative monsters, deeply flawed but relatable characters, and a very grim, mysterious but fun environment. The first thing that jumps to mind is his incredible attention to detail, on one of his books “At the Mountains of Madness” is incredibly descriptive of the machines that the archaeologist are working with. On another of the stories he describes a mythological city, paying attention to many details like its walls, streets, geography, traditions, customs, religions and the social order present at it (Of course it took several paragraphs and the city ended up destroyed in only 7 lines) .
I strongly recommend it, is especially nice to sleep (No kidding) given that most of the descriptions can be very exhausting.

See ya!

  2. I think that "describe" is one of the hardest things about write. You must have a balance: Make the reader introduce in the world and story, but not to be exhaustive. Anyway, Lovecraft is a very good writer.
